Rabbit Whole Wellness
By choosing Rabbit Whole Wellness, you are choosing to bring awareness to your health. You are choosing to explore and address root causes instead of masking symptoms. Our goal is to guide you through an exploration of your own body to find what works for you.
Rabbit Whole Wellness aims to create a network and community, where individuals can find information and expertise for creating and maintaining life balance by improving ones health mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. We recognize that individual needs are unique and aim to provide a variety of options for individuals to explore as they create their own toolbox for maintaining life balance. Utilize in-house expertise with private or group yoga classes to enhance your practice at home or in a studio; join one of our educational presentations or consultations in Ayurvedic practices; or find recommendations for outside services such as local massage therapists, acupuncture, or nature guides.
Kate Winters created Rabbit Whole Wellness to provide an avenue for individuals seeking out tools for life balance. Kate is an Ayurvedic Health Counselor (A.H.C.) and a 200hr E-RYT (Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher). Kate has advanced training and certifications in orthopedic yoga therapy, as well as certifications in Yin, Restorative and Hatha yoga. Kate also works as a naturalist guide for EcoTour Adventures.
Before becoming certified in Ayurveda and yoga, Kate earned her BSc in Marine Biology and a MSc in genetics from James Cook University in Australia. Although shifting careers from environmental biology to Ayurvedic health and yoga, Kate has always found a strong link between nature and personal well-being.
Kate's scientific mind allows her to analyze experiences while practicing Ayurveda and yoga, and refer that understanding to individuals regarding their own unique minds and bodies. From the anatomy of a yoga pose, to the interpretation of the digestive tract, Kate has a way of explaining the whys and hows so that we can learn to monitor and care for our own selves on a regular basis.
